Our community is over-run by unlicensed contractors who offer discounted rates, but do not have the qualifications, insurance or background checks necessary to be doing the work they claim they can do. They hurt our local economy - by not paying into it and by hurting Licensed Contractors who are operating their businesses legally.

Because we are Advocates for doing things properly - we are also big on Consumer Education.

We have heard so many horror stories of jobs being left half-done, trees falling onto houses and the crew just leaving, home improvement projects that were supposed to cost $4,000 and ended up costing $40,000 in repairs due to being done impropertly by someone not qualified to do the job.
